USE OF THE DOCUMENT

This SOP manual has been developed for the use of both student pilots and flight instructors of FlyBy when training VFR cross-country flights or in case of needed use of any of the alternate aerodromes. We advise that this guide does not replace the official procedures established by the authority and is intended to be used following the updated aerodrome charts at all times, during any flight. Failure of this document to comply any of the approved updated procedures in the AIP/SUP/AMD/NOTAM will require the PIC to follow the official ones instead, and report the disagreement of the manual. This remarks the importance of a correct flight dispatch checking the most updated charts and procedures as well as a proper and exhaustive analysis of the NOTAMs.FlyBy

TRAFFIC CIRCUIT

• The circuit altitude published for aircrafts is 3000ft but normally we use 2000ft to facilitate school operations.

*We always have to confirm the altitude AD TRAFFIC CIRCUIT with the ATC* . Maximum number of traffics in the circuit performing touch and goes is three . Do not overfly the military airbase

LERJ PROCEDURES

Corridors at LERJ

• ARRIVALS: Must follow the corridors at 4500FT, and report over the points published at VAC
• DEPARTURES: Must follow the corridors at 4000FT, and report over the points published at VAC
• Must not enter the CTA of LERJ without contacting the ATC (118.580)
• Change frequency only when advised by ATC

Parking positions

• General aviation apron (7 stands) from stands 6 to 12.
• All general aviation stands can be used to park Flyby aircrafts

Hangar (stand 3)

• At the last flight of the day, 3 aircrafts will go to stand nº3 to be parked inside the hangar
• You should request TWR to proceed to stand nº3

General Aviation (GA) O Stand nº3 Hangar

Departure from A intersection

• Ground check must be done before taxing
• If RWY 29 is in use, you can departure from intersection A without restrictions
• If RWY 11 is in use, you are not allowed to departure from intersection A

Departure from B intersection

• You can depart from intersection B if RWY 11 is in use, until 25 degrees of OAT, after 25 degrees of OAT is not allowed to departure from B intersection.FlyBy

- In LERJ we should be full ready for departure before requesting taxi clearance - The student must be always properly identified with Passport, DNI or NIE as well as with the airport pass and the school card. - When passing security, students need to have solo authorization, ID and medical ready.

Communications

- Students should always monitor FLYBAI OPERATIONS frequency 123.450. - Must contact "La Rioja Tower" 118.580

Communication Failure

Aircraft with communication failure shall only enter in the area via S corridor, maintaining 5000ft ALT, proceeding to the north of airfield to enter the communications failure circuit (2200 ft ALT MAX), expecting visual signals from TWR.
